About Francis Miller

I have wide experience of the business world so you can be confident that I will be producing copy that not just reads well but also sells strongly.

My experience of a variety of disciplines, including accountancy, marketing and public relations, allows me to bring a broad perspective to my writing.

I have been writing for a long time and articles of mine have appeared in publications such as:

  • Business China
  • The Industrial Society Magazine
  • The Guardian
  • Caduceus

In addition, I am the author of The Internal Business Plan Manual. Tom Lambert, the Professor of Consultancy at Rushmore University, wrote of it: "Concise, practical and of real use to businesses large and small, this is a 'must have' manual for success."

I enjoy my work and get particular satisfaction in helping businesses and charities communicate the quality of their products and services effectively.

For the past 6 years, I have been a small business consultant and, before that, my work experience included:

  • being one of the four founders of the Merlin Ecology Fund (now the Jupiter Ecology Fund), which was the first ever UK environmental unit trust

  • doing management consultancy work for the Falkland Islands Government

  • setting up Mountain Books Ltd, a small publishing company

  • fundraising work for a cancer charity

  • strategy development for businesses and non-profit organisations.

I graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge where I received an MA in Social & Political Science.
